The Challenger Drumtech Multi Head Filler is designed to fill four drums consecutively to a predetermined weight without the need for any manual intervention for topping up to the set level. The sequential fill program has an automatic, pallet and drum tare facility to provide accuracy and an indicator shows the operator when the process is finished. Individual drum fill weights are shown on the panel to allow operator verification.
The four filling heads each have self-closing valves and are fed from a manifold to start and stop the liquid flow. A bypass line via a smaller valve provides the dribble feed to ensure accuracy. The four filling heads are located to machine slides on a mast which is raised from and lowered to the drums pneumatically.
