Fabrication

Customers have the opportunity to have fabrication work carried out from existing drawings or can make use of the on-site design team who use the latest 3D SolidWorks design package.

Our manufacturing facility includes 2 large open plan working areas with overhead crane coverage allowing a wide range of fabrication work to be undertaken.

All mild steel and stainless-steel fabrications are catered for with welders trained in MIG, TIG and stick welding disciplines.

Challenger have held BS EN 1090 certification for a number of years and also have a number of fabricators within the division holding coded welding status. Other facilities to note are the sheet metal press brake and guillotine as well as steel section cutting, surface grinding and painting booth.
