Find Out MoreFounded in 1980, SSI Shredding Systems Inc. was formed when the idea of mobile shredders was a new concept. Initially, we offered a self-contained mobile shredder, used to provide contract shredding services for industrial and government organisations.
In early development of the SSI brand, flexibility was key as customers frequently came to us with unique problems. This compelled us to focus on engineering new solutions.
As processing needs grew, the demand for shear shredders expanded from temporary to dedicated systems. SSI began engineering and manufacturing a full line of rotary shear shredding systems in response.
In 1988, SSI began to expand into the Pacific Rim and has since provided several hundred installations in Japan alone. Our customer solutions continue to each year, stretching around the globe and reaching all 7 continents.
